Dr. Josephine Nsaful is a consultant General Surgeon with special interest in breast cancer. She is also a Senior Lecturer in surgery at the University of Ghana Medical School and works at the Breast Unit, Department of Surgery, Korlebu Teaching Hospital (KBTH). She earned her medical degree from the University of Ghana Medical School (UGMS) and is a Fellow of the Ghana College of Surgeons, and a Fellow of the West African College of Surgeons.

Dr Nsaful job focuses on the treatment of breast cancer particularly performing breast cancer surgeries. Her other duties include teaching medical students, training surgical specialists and conducting research. Her research focuses on various aspects of breast cancer, particularly its distinctive characteristics in individuals of African origin, quality of life, survival outcomes and metastatic disease.

Dr Nsaful is committed to public education and awareness campaigns, specifically targeting adolescents and women's groups and also leads the Breast and Cervical Cancer Awareness Group. She is passionate about educating her breast cancer patients and cancer survivors on the disease and empowering them to be advocates for themselves and others.
